Alright, so you got the tan…
now let’s make it
last.

A tan with proper prep and aftercare can last up to 14 days.

A tan with no prep or after care can last 3-5 days.

The first shower after your tan:
Use water only, DO NOT use soap. This shower is meant to be quick - think 45 seconds to a minute with lukewarm water. The water will turn brown and look like death running off, this is NORMAL. Rinse until the water is no longer a darker color.

  • Avoid any water exposure such as, swimming, sweating and showering before your upcoming rinse time. At your appointment I will go over all of this with you, and let you know your rinse time.

  • If you have pets, do not let them lick you before your rinse time. (Trust me on this!)

  • Avoid applying makeup, lotions/oils, deodorant, and perfume until after your first shower.

  • Wear long sleeves and pants to avoid palm-to-skin contact while your tan is developing this will help prevent stained palms, splotchy tan spots, all the unwanted things.

Pat dry when getting out of the shower, rough rubbing from the towel could result in an uneven and blotchy tan. Remember the more water exposure your skin has, the faster the spray tan will fade.

P.S If you see streaks after your first rinse don’t worry - it’s excess cosmetic bronzer that did not rinse off all the way. Just hop back in the shower and use your hand to guide the leftover bronzer off (and the “streaks” will vanish)!
